This is the central place for updating all of your member information. You may update your username and password, photograph, and member preferences. You may also submit articles to our Syndicated Articles Directory, fill out your Author Profile, update your Book Profile, submit your speaker profiles for our Speakers' Bureau, update your Expert Profile for our Database of Experts to the Media, submit query letters to agents, and update your subscription.
Overwhelmed by how much is available? You can register your profiles in any order that you like, but here is one suggested path through the many publicity opportunities the IAW offers:
- Upload your photo. (The photo will appear on most of your profiles.)
- Fill out your Expert Profile so that journalists and editors can begin calling on you for quotes
- Fill out your Speaker Profile so that meeting planners and book groups can locate you for speaking engagements
- Add one or more articles to the Syndicated Articles Directory so that websites and ezines will be able to run your articles
- If you're looking for a literary agent and publisher, add a query to the Query Forum
- If you're the author of one or more books, fill out your Author Profile, and a Book Profile for each of your books, so that bookstores, libraries, and bookgroups will hear about your book(s)
