The International Association of Writers is a writing organization that educates, connects, inspires, and promotes published and unpublished writers, experts, and speakers worldwide. The International Association of Writers' Director is Fern Reiss. Fern has been freelance writing for over 20 years, and is the author of six published books, including The Publishing Game: Find an Agent in 30 Days, The Publishing Game: Publish a Book in 30 Days, and The Publishing Game: Bestseller in 30 Days. She is CEO of The Publishing Game, offering books, workshops, and consulting to authors who want to publish and promote their books; and Expertizing.com, providing businesses and nonprofits with workshops and consulting on how to get better U.S. and European media attention. Her Expertizing® Publicity Forum provides a vehicle by which businesses can directly pitch top journalists to get more media coverage. Fern is an honors graduate of Harvard University, and an active member of the Harvard Alumni Association board; she is a frequent keynote speaker at writing, publishing, and publicity conferences, including The American Society for Journalists and Authors, Book Expo America, Publishers Marketing Association University, Bulldog Reporter Media Relations, and The Commonwealth Institute.
